लंघन (laṅghana)
: Reducing or lightening therapy. A class of treatments aimed at reducing body weight, digesting toxins (āma), and alleviating Kapha and Medas (fat tissue).
Methods: Includes ten techniques such as fasting, exposure to wind and sun, physical exercise, and digestives. It can be palliative or purificatory.
Context: Primary therapy for obesity, sluggish digestion, and Kapha-dominated disorders.
