डमरुयंत्र  ḍamaru-yantra  A specific, hourglass-shaped apparatus used in Rasa Śāstra (alchemical and iatrochemical processes) for procedures like extraction, purification, and sublimation of metals (e.g., mercury) and other substances. Its unique shape allows for the controlled application of heat and collection of sublimates
