छ

 छछिक  chachikā  A type of liquid preparation made by adding a large quantity of water to Madhita (a fermented grain preparation).

 छत्र धारण  chatra dhāraṇa  The act of holding an umbrella. It provides protection from rain, wind, dust, and snow; is beneficial for complexion, eyesight, and ojas(vital essence); and has an overall wholesome effect.

 छत्राभ दृष्टिमण्डल  chatrābha dṛṣṭimaṇḍala  A pupil that is dilated and fixed, resembling an umbrella (a sign of imminent death in Arishtha Lakshana

 छर्दि  chardi  The act of vomiting.

 छर्दिनिग्रहण  chardinigrahaṇa  Substances or therapies that suppress or control vomiting (anti-emetics).

 छलम्  chalam  A type of quackery where a physician uses fraudulent, delusive statements, or unmeaning verbosity to deceive.

 छान  chāna  A synonym for a dried cow dung cake (used as fuel in traditional contexts).

 छाया  chāyā  1. The natural glow, lustre, and reflection of the skin. <br> 2. Shade, shadow, or a reflected image.

 छाया इच्छा  chāyā icchā  A desire to stay in the shade (a symptom of conditions like heatstroke or fever).

 छायाविघात  chāyāvighāta  Diminution or loss of the natural skin lustre and complexion.

 छिद्यते इव  chidyate iva  A sensation as if being cut or pierced (a type of sharp pain).

 छिद्यन्त इव  chidyanta iva  A sensation as if being cut or pierced (a type of sharp pain).

 छिद्र  chidra  An opening, hole, or cavity.

 छिद्र दन्त  chidra danta  A tooth with a cavity (dental caries).

 छिद्रप्रहारी  chidraprahārī  A person who attacks others by exploiting their weaknesses or vulnerable points.

 छिद्रैः अधोवायु  chidraiḥ adhovāyu  The passing of flatus through an abnormal opening (e.g., a fistula or ulcer).

 छिद्रैः पुरीषप्रवर्तनं  chidraiḥ purīṣapravartanaṁ  The discharge of stool through an abnormal opening (e.g., a fistula or ulcer).

 छिद्रैः शुक्रं  chidraiḥ śukraṁ  The discharge of semen through an abnormal opening (e.g., a urethral fistula).

 छिनत्ति इव  chinatti iva  A cutting or splitting sensation (a type of sharp pain).

 छिन्न व्रण  chinna vraṇa  An incised wound (a wound caused by a sharp cutting instrument).

 छिन्नं निश्शेषतः अस्थि  chinnaṁ niśśeṣataḥ asthi  A bone that is completely severed or cut through.

 छिन्ना दृष्टिमण्डल  chinnā dṛṣṭimaṇḍala  A pupil that appears split or torn.

 छेद  cheda  A cutting or piercing type of pain.

 छेदन  chedana  Chopping. A primary processing step in drug preparation where raw materials are cut into small pieces to increase surface area for further processing like drying or extraction.

छेदनं chedanaṁ  Incorrect previous meaning. This term in an Ayurvedic pharmacological context refers to the process of chopping or cutting , not "scarificants". The correct term for scarificants (substances that cause discharge) is `स्रावण` (srāvaṇa).
