एककाल भोजन  ekakāla bhojana  The therapeutic practice of consuming only one meal a day to stimulate a weak digestive fire (Agni).

 एकदंष्ट्रार्दित  ekadaṃṣṭrārdita  Poisoning from the bite of a single-fanged creature (e.g., a toad).

 एकदेशसाध्यत्व  ekadeśasādhyatva  The principle that different parts of a single substance (e.g., root, leaf, fruit of a plant) possess distinct properties and therapeutic effects.

 एकपिण्डम्  ekapiṇḍam  1. A homogenous paste or mass created by trituration. 2. A solid dosage form, such as a pill or bolus.

 एकवासरः  ekavāsaraḥ  A single day. Refers to the instruction that certain pharmaceutical preparations (like medicated oils and ghee) should not be completed within one day.

 एकान्तः  ekāntaḥ  An absolute, definitive, and incontrovertible statement; a principle that is universally true and not subject to contextual interpretation.

 एभ्योऽन्यथा चिकित्स्याः  ebhyo'nyathā cikitsyāḥ  "Those (patients) other than these should be treated." (A medical instruction implying that patients without specific fatal signs/prognosis are treatable).
